Frank Holleman is the founder of the Fork Ranger initiative, a platform dedicated to educating people on how their food choices can impact climate change and providing practical ways to eat more sustainably through recipes and information. Nearly 60% of food waste starts in our homes, with 1/5 of all food produced each year squandered or lost before it can be consumed. This is the equivalent to one billion — billion with a B — meals — per day — !! Information like this can feel so overwhelming but one person can make a difference especially if that one person inspires others to follow suit. Frank is that one person and he’s one person you need to hear from to see how you can be the next. We talk everything from leaning in to everyday recipes to why supermarkets may not be so super after all and he also announces our show intro in Dutch — how good is that? Enjoy this international new episode.
