Amy Simon is a cultural HER-storian, playwright and performer. She’s the creator and artistic voice behind She’s History, the one-person show she’s been performing for over a decade. Interestingly, it all started at her daughter’s school where the history lessons were all male-centric and Amy wondered, ‘Where the hell are the women?’ So she went to the library to do some research and then got some inspiration from her idol Gloria Steinem herself. It’s funny how the path just opens up when we take action, isn’t it? Join us as we celebrate Women’s History Month with an expert who knows a good thing or two about what the women of our country have done to make this a better place.
